As we get closer to remind the highlight of our fundraising campaign for the March of Dimes, the story of one of our patients tell us about what we all struggle. Nathan and Lori Givens live in Wilsonville happy with her, good sons, Elijah, Mason and Hudson. They have been working to bring awareness, support by fundraising for prematurity Providence St. Vincent Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and other programs that families with premature infants, including the March of Dimes. For our efforts, not only do they enjoy gracious to share her story, but also have our fund-raising campaign in their business Wilsonville, Music Man Studio gegeben.Verlassen the hospital with empty arms and your cute little baby is fighting for his go in the newborn intensive care unit is not what you imagine that you once dreamed about the birth of your child. It was my reality, and yet, and is the reality for so many other families as well. When we found retired, that we were pregnant in addition to identical twins in 2007, we were overjoyed. After several miscarriages, we hoped and prayed at home, two healthy brothers, our man-child, Elias, to bring a minor at the time. The pregnancy was complicated, but we were all grateful for every day. We were devastated, as I of the crystal did not survive motherhood. Mason Givens, now four, was member of the NICU at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.Ich bedside balance set at 25 weeks, so you would think I would be prepared for a premature baby. The truth is, you can not all be for your baby born as early preparation. At 32 weeks, we thought we were “out of the woods” when I was diagnosed in the vicinity of HELLP syndrome and was induced. I remember my precious 3 pounds 13 ounces baby for a pregnant moment before argonon was kidnapped on the neonatal intensive care unit. On top of that I had complications of placenta accreta and monitored in the intensive care unit. I was scared and was not able, my son, Mason, in addition to the quick look to see when he was born. The ICU nurse found a soft opening for me to see the end of Mason late one night and put me in my bed in the ICU.There was a lot of tubes and machines to see him as a baby and I could not keep, but pure woman is able to touch him for the first place made me realize he was good for the championship golf course and within care for him at that sparkling. My husband and I visited Mason twice a sunshine and put a picture of Big Brother, and Elijah, he was too young for noble gas, come inside the neonatal intensive care unit. Our little fighter did extremely well in the neonatal intensive care unit and was buried 15 days later with a weight of just under four pounds. He’s such a miracle and we are therefore grateful for the help and support we received during pregnancy and after the ceremony.Hudson, soon almost ii Jahre.Zwei age next was another premature baby a little easier because we knew what to expect, but it is still extremely painful for your baby to the hospital to leave and not know which messages You will receive each day. My next pregnancy I ended up in hospital furniture remains at 30 weeks when my Navy broke. I made it to 32 weeks if I had an emergency C-section because the baby was not moving. Our beautiful Hudson remained in the NICU all for almost a month. We looked to send to each and every day to visit, although not with two other young children could UN agency to come with us to the neonatal intensive care unit made every day a challenge. With the support of our family, we have managed to work without a visit. Nathan and Lori Givens and her cubs in 2011.Ich really thank God every day for three beautiful boys that bless our lives. Elijah is seven, is four and Mason has tailored his angels, Noah, looking about him, and Hudson is 23 months. After years of doctor visits, and horror in general, they try to keep healthy, I do not know how much I stare at each of them. The older two faculty ask me, “Mommy, why you have me?”, I Answer: ‘Because I love you ” Honestly, I still can not believe that they are present and healthy. Were according to our budget during the time our babies on the neonatal intensive care unit was disconnected, I’m so in debt that we all zusammen.Women’s Health Care Associates, Perinatal Center includes North, a group of mother and fetus medicine specialists, the unsound pregnancies as Loris to manage, sometimes in connection with a woman who specialized OB / GYN.They also apply to women with frequent diseases during pregnancy or attention once it is fetal medical complications.
